A smoothie full of vegetables may not necessarily look like your first choice of breakfast, but it is only because you have not tried this green-spinan-spinach smoothie! Even with cauliflower and spinach as the main ingredients and no added sugar, this smoothie has a sweet and delicious taste. You will not even realize that you get your daily dose of vegetables.
Although cauliflower and spinach are the basis of this smoothie, you really can’t taste them. The cauliflower does not have a strong taste, but it thickens any smoothie to a perfect consistency. Not to mention all the nutrients you get. The same can be said of spinach.

Preparation work
The only preparation you will have to do in advance is to steam cauliflower, then freeze it. I have already done many cauliflower smoothies, and they don’t work as well if the cauliflower was not steamed first. The cauliflower steam facilitates the mixture gently later.
If you use raw cauliflower, chop it in florets and throw it in a saucepan of boiling water. Follow it until it is so soft that you can easily stick a fork through. Once you remove it from the heat and let it cool, freeze it for at least several hours.
You can also buy already frozen cauliflower and throw it into the smoothie without any preparation work. For any reason, the frozen cauliflower bought in store seems to work very well in smoothies (I suppose they could steam it before?).
Assemble your smoothie
To do this smoothie, you will need a high -speed mixer. Add your frozen cauliflower, spinach, mango, kiwi, chia seeds, hemp seeds and a softness date. Mix and add almond milk or water if necessary to make it as thick or liquid as you want.
That’s it, not much! Smoothies are one of the fastest and easiest breakfasts I can think of personally. Not to mention nutritious and delicious 🙂
