- 800 g (1.76 lbs) turkey (blanquette)
- 1 onion, studded with 1 clove
- 100 g (3.5 oz) canned button mushrooms
- 1 carrot, quartered lengthwise
- 80 g (2.8 oz) smoked bacon lardons
- ½ leek, sliced
- 30 g (1 oz) butter
- 15 cl (5 fl oz) heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 bouquet garni
- 1 chicken stock cube
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook the Turkey:
In a pot, cover the turkey pieces with water. Add the clove-studded onion, chicken stock cube, carrot, leek, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour, then drain the turkey. - Make the Sauce:
In a separate pot, melt the butter and add the flour to form a roux. Gradually incorporate the hot broth, stirring continuously, and cook for 5 minutes. Add the cream, then season. - Sauté the Bacon and Mushrooms:
Fry the bacon lardons and mushrooms in butter. Combine with the turkey blanquette and serve hot.
