Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 200 ml of oil
  • Egg yolk
  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • Mustard 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • Salt or fine salt
  • Pepper

Equipment :

  • Whisk
  • Mixing bowl

Preparation: 10 minutes

  • Take the eggs out half an hour before starting the mayonnaise.
  • In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • In a bowl, whisk the room temperature egg yolks, mustard, vinegar, salt, and white pepper.
  • Whisk until the salt is completely dissolved.
  • Gradually pour in the oil in a thin stream, while continuously mixing.
  • If necessary, add more oil to thicken it further.
  • If it falls, add a splash of cold water.
  • Once thickened, store your mayonnaise in the refrigerator.
