Here is an overview of the simple ingredients you must have to make your own frozen bark.

  • Vegan yogurt: You can use your favorite dairy -free yogurt brand or your ordinary yogurt if you prefer.
  • Vanilla protein powder: This adds more protein to your yogurt bark, which makes it a little more satisfactory for snacks.
  • Creamy peanut butter: I find that creamy peanut butter is working better to propagate transparently in the yogurt bark.
  • Fruit: Really, you can use any type of fresh fruit, but I use fresh strawberries, blueberries, mango, kiwi and blackberries. Use a variety of fruit for a large touch of color on your yogurt bark.

Recipe advice

Give a healthy iconing yogurt bark for configuration. I know that you are ready to take advantage of it right away, but I find that the yogurt bark with berries really needs a solid six hours to settle completely in the freezer. Most of the time, I do the day before the intention to appreciate it.

Chop the fruit in small pieces. Although the blueberries and raspberries are small enough, they don’t need chopping, be sure to cut other fruits in parts of similar size.

Line your cooking tray. You can use parchment paper or waxed paper on your cooking tray. This makes the yogurt much easier to remove from the pan and is divided into small pieces.

Store the yogurt bark in the freezer. In this way, it remains firm. It will last up to three months in the freezer. After having broken it into pieces, store in a container with a piece of parchment paper between the layers. Make sure it is well covered or inside an airtight container to prevent ice crystals from forming.

Be sure to choose a saucepan This fits into your freezer and can remain flat.

Be creative with your favorite fruits and fillings! The possibilities are endless and you can adapt the recipe according to your personal preferences.
