These night oats mixed with chocolate are the perfect breakfast for the preparation of meals on a Sunday evening and enjoy your charged mornings throughout the week.
A night’s oat flour has been popular for some time and for a good reason. It is a delicious breakfast that is great for busy people.
Recently, a new way to eat overnight oats has emerged – mixing them! It is a small change, but it creates the most delicious creamy consistency that gives you the impression of eating cake dough, but it is always the same healthy breakfast with simple ingredients you know and love.

What you will need to make your chocolate mixed with night oats
Oat ingredients
- banana: A banana that is just starting to become uneven is the best because it is soft, easy to crush and very soft. This gives oats so much natural sweetness, that I generally add any maple syrup or other sweeteners.
- oatmeal*: See the notes below. You can make your own oatmeal or use the store purchased in store.
- plant protein powder: This is optional, but adds additional proteins and has a delicious taste. I used chocolate protein powder for an additional chocolate flavor.
- cocoa powder: Nutritious powder cocoa and is rich in iron, magnesium and potassium. This is why I prefer cooking with cocoa powder, but you can certainly replace the cocoa powder for cocoa powder if you don’t have them. Here is a cocoa brand that I like to useBut there are many others.
- creamy peanut butter: I think Creamy works better for this recipe, but you can also use crunchy peanut butter if you prefer. I like to use natural peanut butter that had only peanuts and salt as ingredients. I like it because there are no unnecessary additional ingredients, and it also had a very good flow that works very well for this recipe.
- maple syrup (Optional) *: See the notes below. You can also use other liquid sweeteners such as agave or honey.
- Chia seeds
- yogurt without dairy products: You can use any type of yogurt without dairy products. I like to use plain yogurt that has no flavor. I also like to use thick yogurt as opposed to the more Runnian type. It can be difficult to find thick vegan yogurt, but the marks Cocojune And Culina Have a very large thick vegan yogurt. If you are not a vegan, you can also use the Greek yogurt.
- milk without dairy (Optional) *: See the notes below. I like to use oat milk or unsweetened almond milk, but all plant -based milk will work. If you are not a vegan, you can also use whole milk.
- vanilla extract: If you use yogurt or milk that already contains vanilla, you can leave this aside.
- A pinch of sea salt
- If you want to make them even more chocolate, you can add a few chocolate chips to oats.
Glaze
- yogurt without dairy products
- Faded dark chocolate
- peanut butter

Notes
* Oat: If you don’t have oat flour, you can mix the oats in a food processor to create your own oat flour. For this recipe, mix a little more ¼ cup of oat to get ¼ cup oat flour.
If you mix your own oatmeal, you can use any type of oats you like. I like to use old -fashioned oats, but you can also use fast oats / instant oats or steel stroke.
Mixing your own oatmeal is a great way to save money, because oat flour can be a bit expensive. I like to mix a large batch of oat flour and store it in an airtight container to use for my mixed oat during the night.
* Maple syrup: if you use already sweet yogurt or if you want to add less sugar, you can leave the maple syrup aside. If you have more than one sweet tooth, I recommend that you add it.
* Milk: what thickness you want to make oats is a personal preference. If you prefer very thick oats, do not add the milk. If you want a more flowing and fluid consistency, add a little milk at a time, until you are satisfied with the texture.

How to make oats mixed
In a bowl, start by crushing the banana with a fork.

Then add the oatmeal, proteins, cocoa, peanut butter, chia seeds, maple, yogurt, milk, vanilla and salt.

Combine them well with a fork or a spoon.
You can transfer oats to another smaller bowl or eat them in the same bowl. I like to mix the ingredients in a larger bowl because it can be a little messy. I then transfer the oats to a smaller bowl which is better suited to eat them.
Obtain the oats on the top so that you have a uniform layer.
Then create the glaze layer.
In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt and the melted chocolate.
Spread the chocolate frosting on top of the oats. I decided to add peanut butter to the top of the oats and swirl it to make a marble style.
I also like the filling of my oat mixed all night with fresh fruit like the fresh strawberries that I added here.

You can do these oats at night and refrigerate them so that you have breakfast ready in the morning, or you can enjoy them immediately!

How to store these oats
You can eat these overnight oats right now. I love doing them like a quick dessert that is ready in 5 minutes. You can also store them in a pot or hermetic container in the refrigerator overnight and have your breakfast ready to go in the morning! They become even thicker and creamy if they are stored during the night.
How long does the oat last day last?
Because none of their ingredients run very quickly (except banana), they will last about a week in the refrigerator. It’s great because you can prepare your breakfast on Sunday for the whole week. If you prepare them, I recommend that you leave the banana aside, then crush them and add it to the rest of the oats once you are ready to enjoy it.
What to do oat
I like to make my oats in a bowl of oats so that they are ready to take advantage of the refrigerator directly. I just make sure to cover them with something, so they are always fresh the next morning.
You can also do them in a Mason jar or a stereal container and catch them to eat on the go if you are in a hurry.
I really like to eat these cold oats because I think they have a taste for pudding. However, if you don’t like the cold crane, you can warm them up in the microwave.
