Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- 1 Apple of choice I used HoneyCrisp
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- almond butter
- Optional: Pumpkin seeds
Instructions

Start by grilling the bread.

Cut the apple into small cubes.

In a saucepan, add the maple syrup, coconut oil, cinnamon and vanilla and move them well.

Add the apples and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring them everywhere to make sure they cook on all sides.

You can cook them more or less time, depending on your preferences and how caramelized you want them.

Spread the almond butter (or any other walnut butter of choice) on your toast, garnish caramelized apples and add pumpkin seeds for a little crunch.
