- a means banana: I recommend using a ripe banana.
- vegan yogurt: I chose to make this vegan recipe, but you can use the type of yogurt you like like Greek yogurt or any type of natural yogurt.

Other garnish options
I chose to garnish my division of healthy bananas with yogurt, granola and fresh berries, but there are so many other garnish options that you could appreciate! Here are some other delicious options with which you can fill your banana split.
- Dark chocolate chips or cocoa feathers
- Chia seeds or pumpkin seeds: for healthier fats
- Maple syrup: I think this recipe has enough natural sweetness because of bananas and berries, but if you have more sweet tooth, you can always add maple, agave or honey.

- Almond butter or cashew butter: I chose to garnish my banana split with peanut butter, but you can use any other type of nut butter you like.
- Cherries Maraschino: If you want a garnish that will really remind you of the classic banana divisions, you can even go with a classic maraschino cherry on the top!
Add more protein to this delicious banana division
If you want to add even more protein to this delicious breakfast, there are several delicious options.
The first and easiest option is that you can mix the protein powder in the yogurt you use.
You may have seen the trend of viral cottage cheese which was very popular this year. Cottage cheese is rich in protein and an excellent option to replace yogurt in this recipe. How to make this breakfast division of breakfast
Slice a banana in the middle and peel off the skin from each of the halves of bananas.
