- Tomatoes 3 kg of ripe tomatoes
- Sugar 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 4 Onion
- 5 Garlic
- Balsamic vinegar : 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 1 Bay leaf
- Thyme 1 small sprig of fresh thyme
- Four spices 2 pinches of four spices
- Salt or fine salt
- Pepper
